Kristen grew up in Marin County, California, in the '60s and '70s - a memorable and inspiring time. Raised by two artistic parents, she has been drawn to the creative process in both life and career. “My family was artistic and pretty adventurous. During my childhood we spent a lot of time in Tahoe making great memories. I feel so lucky to call this amazing place my home,” she says. 

Over the years, studies, work and play led Kristen to live in various cities and towns throughout the United States and Europe. “Travel has been a large part of my creative process and personal growth and will continue to be,” she says. Most recently, she spent time in Mexico, Guatemala, Peru and India. All of these colorful, vibrant cultures influenced the vision for SOL Tahoe. 

About 5 years ago, Kristen reached out to Jimi when she was looking for a metalsmith and creative partner to help bring her jewelry visions to life. They began working together and lelamooi fine jewelry was launched. SOL Tahoe is the next natural step for this creative dream and vision. Kristen is incredibly grateful for the talent and support of the amazing SOL Tahoe team.
